PETER WHITE: I was the first Australian to have a combined Heart/Kidney Transplant at St. Vincent's Hospital, Sydney. This operation took place in October 1990 and was a complete success. Since then I remarried. Kim and I were blessed with a beautiful daughter in 1995. Over the past twenty years my life has been a real roller coaster ride full of lots happiness and many tribulations. To date I have spent about 89 weeks in hospital including two long periods in Intensive Care. This Blog is really a day to day record of my life as a transplant patient and is meant to be an inspiration for anyone suffering adversity. I hope you enjoy the experience. I remarried, have two wonderful daughters and am enjoying life immensely. This blog has been set up as an inspiration to anyone suffering adversity whether it be physical or simply their lot in life. It is a celebration of what can be achieved in spite of almost insurmountable odds. I welcome your comments.
